Astra Film DokTank – Industry accreditations open
Astra Film Festival, one of the most relevant documentary filmmaking events in Europe, offers every year a vital and exciting meeting place of world cinema.
Astra Film DokTank Astra Film Festival’s industry program, mirrors the ambitious mission of the festival to explore and understand the human condition through portrayals of culturally diverse contemporary societies and presents a favourable environment for a range of networking and project development opportunities. The aim of the program is to encourage the development and growth of Romanian and European documentary industries and of its current and future filmmakers.
The 2020 Astra Film DokTank will happen online. We are experiencing unique times, when most of the rules as we knew them have changed almost overnight, and we believe that no opportunity of sharing experience, thoughts, plans and views on our post-pandemic future should be missed. These are going to be the main topics of our industry activities and we are committed to offer a propitious space for debate and to transfer the Astra Film spirit, at least to some degree, to the online environment.
Industry accreditation
Industry accreditation is meant only for film industry professionals. Every accreditation request is reviewed individually and you may be asked to provide convincing proof of your professional activity (e.g. an up-to-date CV or a detailed filmography).
Applications for industry accreditation can be made online until Monday, 5 October 2020 (we cannot guarantee the processing of any application submitted after this date). The Astra Film Festival carefully checks every successfully submitted application and reserves the right to reject accreditation. Applicants will be informed of AFF’s decision via e-mail.
Student accreditation
We also offer accreditation for university undergraduate and graduate students, wanting to attend the online activities of Astra Film DokTank. Proof of student status will be requested as part of the application, please note that you will need to upload a copy of your student ID as part of the application.
Applications for student accreditation can be made online until Monday, 5 Octorber 2020 (we cannot guarantee the processing of any application submitted after this date). Applicants will be informed of AFF’s decision via e-mail.
