ASTRA FILM FESTIVAL ONLINE will take place from 16 to 25 October via the festival platform.
The programme consists of the competitive sections New Voices in Documentary Cinema and the Central &Eastern European Competition. Most of the films of the Romanian Competition presented last month during the Open Air edition, including the award-winners, are also available on the platform. In addition, there is a retrospective programme called AFF Memorabilia with films that have been successfully presented at the festival over the years.

AFF ONLINE will also host a program dedicated to the film industry, which will include a series of activities taking place in the virtual environment. A special event of the industry programme, which is also open to the public is the live discussion A Life In The Cutting Room with our special guest, British film editor, Andrew C. Evans, BFE. The event is part of the Astra Film series ”A Life in Documentaries” hosted by Bafta-nominated documentary director/producer, Liviu Tipuriță.
