Simon Kilmurry in conversation with the AFF audience

It was our great pleasure to present the talk with Simon Kilmurry, executive director of IDA and previously producer and executive producer for POV, the PBS long-running showcase of documentary cinema. Simon drew from his experience and knowledge of the US market and shared with the audience details about the the characteristics of US documentary production and distribution, and the ways in which it differs from the modes of financing, production and distribution of documentaries in Europe.
